Year 1 forest school

Year 1 Forest School 

Year 1 have thoroughly enjoyed their first visit to forest school this year. We have been learning about seasons in Science and have continued this learning at forest school. We looked at a weather station which showed us how much rainfall there had been, what the temperature is outside and also how windy it is. Throughout the year, we will continue to monitor our weather station and record our findings to see the change over time. Also, we looked at the trees around forest school and discussed what signs of Autumn we could see. We collected some Autumn coloured leaves and other things which showed us Autumn: conkers. Before we had choosing time, we went on a hunt around the forest to collect various items, that we used to make an Autumn picture. We had a great time at forest school and cannot wait to go back next time to further our learning. Thank you Mrs Pugh and to the parents/carers who helped.
