Maths Homework - November
This month children are practicing their times tables. Most children in year 2 are learning their 2, 5 and 10 times tables and have been practising these in class. Some children have also started to learn their 3 times table and are getting quicker at counting in three's.
When solving times tables that they don't know by heart, or by counting, the children should be encouraged to draw arrays. They look like this...
3 x 4 = 12
