Year 3 Poet Visit

Year 3 were inspired today by a visit from local poet and children's author Martyn Harvey.

He began with an assembly where he shared some of his new book ' The Boy with the Saucepan Hat'.

Martyn then did a workshop with each class and the children asked him lots of great questions. They learnt how Martyn gets his ideas from the world around him and how he both writes and illustrates his wonderful books and poems.

We were excited to be able to buy Martyn's new book which he had also signed for us,
