Year 6 Marvel at New Brighton

As part of our new art topic, Street Art, Year 6 ventured to New Brighton to gaze upon the phenomenal street art that Victoria Quarter has to offer.

We hopped on the train at Grove Road for a short ride to New Brighton station, to then walk the open air gallery!

Many of us believed a lot of the pieces to be extremely thought-provoking, with some of us explaining how certain artworks had positive/negative connotations, and how the artist(s) came to produce their masterpieces.

We took iPads out in pairs and snapped a few shots of the artistic wonders. When we arrived back at school, we then collated our images in the form of a PicCollage, which we will then use as inspiration for our future street art lessons.
