Year 6 were lucky enough to participate in writing workshops yesterday to develop tension in their stories. The writing that they have produced from this is amazing! Children used weather to create a spooky mood, used description to show emotion and learned how to keep the reader in suspense until right at the end.

Year 4 started their day with a tour of the amazing St Paul's Cathedral. Children were in awe of the building and all had chance to light a candle to think of somebody close to them.

St George's have got to sleep. We had a wonderful day. Children are exhausted. Mrs Wood's pedometer said we walked 23,000 steps today. No photos from Matilda because the theatre prohibits cameras. However the children loved the show.

We are all boarded and ready to go. Biggest challenge so far has been the children working out how to use the automatic toilets on the train.
