St. George's Dragon Club refers to our wraparound care providing breakfast, after-school, and holiday clubs exclusively to St. George’s pupils.

Dragon Club operates as a self-sustaining facility, with the proceeds directly benefiting the school and, ultimately, the children.

We have a committed team that consists of a manager, deputy managers, and playworkers, all focused on providing exceptional care for the children. Each setting offers a variety of daily activities that may include: Arts and crafts, Technology, Construction, Music, Baking, Gardening, Outdoor play.

To encourage the goal of having children read four times a week for up to 10 minutes, children in Years 1 to 6 will engage in reading upon entering Dragon Club. They will also have the chance to finish any homework. Our staff will sign the reading logs for those who read, so this task doesn’t have to be completed at home, unless you prefer to do so.

*We can only accept children who are toilet trained - we do not have changing facilities*

We have named our early years provision for under 5's 'Dragon Club's Brady Bunch' in memory of Mrs Sue Taylor, who we unexpectedly lost following a short battle with Cancer in 2022. Sue was a much-loved Playworker at St George's who worked with our children in Early Years and is remembered for her positivity with colleagues and her warm, gentle nature with the children in Dragon Club. Brady was the name of Mrs Taylor's beloved dog.

You must register to our online booking system iPAL, before you can make bookings and your children can attend.

Please note that Dragon Club is part of the school and follows all school policiesincluding behaviour and safeguarding.

Mr Johnson-Smith is the Senior Safeguarding Lead.
