4A No Pen Day

We had a fantastic day today using our oracy skills!

We started the day by investigating conductors and insulators in an electrical circuit. We used the Cognitive strand of the oracy framework to reason ideas and summarise our findings. It was very exciting when we used the energy stick to show that a circuit needs to be complete.

After break we had fun playing times table games. We thought about how we used the Social and Emotional strand of the oracy framework to help us to be a good listener and take turns.

In the afternoon we focussed on the Physical strand to act out a scene from our English text and perform it to the class.
