NHS England administers the national flu vaccine programme in schools.  Parents have to give their consent for children to have the vaccine administered.

NHS offers the free flu vaccine to all primary school pupils in years reception to 6.

The flu vaccine is the best protection we have against this virus and has an excellent safety record.

This vaccination will help to protect young people, their families and friends from flu at a time when COVID-19 is also likely to be circulating.

The vaccine will be given in school on 23rd November 2023.

If you would like your child to have the free flu vaccine, please click on the following link and enter the school code WC104995:
