They sampled a vegetarian cottage pie, beef stew, vegetarian chilli, potato salad, apple crumble and pumpkin pie (made by the Year 4 teachers)! During, they analysed each dish, concentrating on its appearance, smell, taste and texture, before voting on a dish to recreate following the recipe next week.

Outdoor Learning in 6A!, by Miss M Jones

Date: 4th Nov 2022 @ 11:41am

6A had a fantastic time this morning celebrating Outdoor Learning Day 2022.

We were tasked with recreating fossils from surrounding nature - other groups had to guess which prehistoric creatures we had produced.

Our next activity involved us constructing a home fit for a mini-beast! We collected leaves, twigs, planks of wood, and stones to make our perfect habitat.

We displayed outstanding teamwork and enthusiasm all morning!

Take a look at our efforts!
