Summer term: Message in a Bottle

Living near the sea means the children can share their experiences of exploring these shores as another habitat for different living things. They will contrast their own locality with the continent of Africa, comparing the two environments and the creatures that can be found there. The key texts in this topic will be ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ by and ‘Meerkat Mail’ by Emily Gravett.
