Culture Club
04.12.25 In Culture Club today we visited Namibia where the Nicodemus family are origionally from. Mr Nicodemus taught us all about the different tribes including the tribe that they belong to! Aubrey and Avery shared some delicious food including a beef stew with pap and lots of other delicious vegetables and meats! The group had lots of fun planning games with Mr Nicodemus and trying on the traditional clothing they had brought with them.

27.11.25 In Culture Club today we visited South Africa. Mrs Rix was born there and her family still live there with a lovely house with a pool. Mrs Rix taught us all about Africa's Big 5 - Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Rhino and Buffalo - all of which she has seen! Mrs Rix brought along a lot of delicious South African sweets and snacks which we enjoyed eating along with making some beautiful crafts!

In Culture Club we have learned all about Namibia. The Nicodemus family kindly showed us pictures from their most recent trip there! We learnt all about their food, activities and what amazing animals can be found there! We tried some delicious food during our session including oshifima, potjiekos and biltong alongside some sweet treats!
Today we celebrated Jamacia thanks to Kwesi Okutu who lead this engaging and exciting session with his son Adwin! In this session we learnt about the country Jamacia, what food grows there, what activities and sports they do and even some of their language! The families loved sampling the food supplied by Kwesi's family and Levi's kitchen who made some delicious Jerk Chicken and rice!
Today we learnt about Poland's culture thanks to the Corkhill family, we learnt the language, created some art and even tried some of their delicious traditional food! We were so impressed with the children’s knowledge and confidence sharing their language and songs!

Today our very own Mrs Rix taught us all about South Africa which is where Mrs Rix is from! We learnt all about the animals they have there, their delicious food and some beautiful crafts!
