At Dragon Club, all bookings are processed through our online booking system, iPAL. Once you register for an iPAL account, you'll receive guidance on setting up and managing your account. iPAL is utilised for all bookings and payments related to Dragon Club.

When registering for an account, be sure to select St. George's Dragon Club as your provider.

Breakfast Club bookings close at 8:00am on the day of the session.

After-school Club bookings close at 7:30am on the day of the session.

Holiday Club bookings can be made anytime, as long as spaces are available.

Registering with iPAL

Registering with iPAL is easy. Register in 4 simple steps.
Step 1. Visit www.stgeorgesprimaryschool.ipalbookings.com or download the iPAL app and ensure to select St. George's Dragon Club as the provider.
Step 2. Complete the new parent registration form by clicking register.
Step 3. Once you have completed your registration, you will then need to add your child or
children (add profile).
Step 4. After you have registered, you can use your username and password to sign in.

Make a Booking

To make a booking, log in to your iPAL account, select Book, click Book Now for the club you wish to book, select your child, select the club you wish to book and follow the online instructions to complete your booking. Breakfast and After-School Club bookings need to be made separately as these are different clubs.

Remember: The clubs will be organised as follows:

  • EYFS

  • Year 1
  • Years 2 - 4

  • Years 5 - 6

You can only book children together if they are in the same year group. If you have a child in F1 and Y4, they would need to be booked separately. Clubs are set up in Year Groups to maintain safe staff to child ratios for that Year Group.

Please note that sibling discounts have been discontinued.

Booking Options

You have two options for making bookingsindividual bookings or bulk bookings.

After completing your booking, you'll be presented with various payment options. If you choose to book for the entire school year, you have the option to make partial payments through monthly instalments. Please keep in mind that equal payments will allow you to pay monthly, with payments scheduled for the 28th of each month for the following month. For example, you will be billed on the 28th of August for September bookings. iPAL will send you email reminders on the 25th of each month; please ensure you mark no-reply@schoolipal.co.uk as safe to receive these reminders.

Important Reminders:

  • All bookings must be made through iPAL to maintain a register and help manage attendee numbers and staff provision.

  • Bookings for the Breakfast Club can be made until 8am on the day & After-school Club can be made until 7:30am on the day. Please note that bookings are subject to availability. If the spaces are full on a particular date, you can join the waiting list to be notified if a spot opens up.

  • Parents and carers are responsible for managing their bookings. If bookings are not made and the provision is full, we cannot accept additional children. This policy ensures that our ratios are met and that we operate safely. It is also the responsibility of parents and carers to keep their children's account information updated, including any changes to medical or collection details. This can be done by clicking on the profile and selecting the children on the account.

  • After booking, please carefully review your confirmation email. You can also view your bookings by visiting your calendar and seeing which dates and clubs you have booked. If you select an incorrect date and your child does not appear on our register, we will not be able to collect them. If the school reception needs to contact you and you want your child to come to the club, there may not be space available. You can review your bookings via your invoice or by accessing your calendar on iPAL.

  • There is a 1-day (24 hours) cancellation period. You cannot swap days or cancel and receive a refund for any bookings within one day of the session. If you need to cancel during this period, please log in, click on the calendar, select the session date, and add a note (e.g., "not attending tonight") if your child will not be attending.

  • Failure to book a session, which we need to do for you, may result in a £2 admin fee. This will be enforced for repeated failures to book.

Dragon Club cannot be held responsible for any incorrect bookings.

Waiting List

Where a waiting list is in place, this means that we have reached the maximum safe capacity for that particular year group or area based on the staff available, our risk assessments or legal requirements.

If you are currently on a waiting list:

Unfortunately, we cannot accept your booking unless a space becomes available. When a space does become available, iPAL will automatically send you an email notification.

Our waiting lists operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If you receive an email notifying you that a space has become available but then find that the waiting list is still showing when you try to book, this is because the available place has already been taken by another family.

We will always do everything we can to increase availability when staffing and safety allows. However, once we reach the maximum safe ratio for the area we are using, we are unable to accept any further bookings. This is an important part of ensuring that Dragon Club remains a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our children.

We accept all childcare vouchers and Government Childcare Payment Schemes.

Our OFSTED number is 104995 (necessary for Universal Credit claims). Please remember that Universal Credit cannot be submitted as a voucher, as payment must be made before you can claim. Our system will not generate a paid invoice until invoices have been settled.

Add voucher payments to your wallet for flexibility with ad-hoc bookings . Alternatively, you can make a booking and choose to pay with a Childcare Voucher.

When paying with Childcare Vouchers, please follow these steps:

1. Book your place as outlined above.

2. Select the payment option ‘Pay by voucher and other payment methods

3. Submit your voucher details.

Voucher payments are transferred directly to our bank account approximately 3-5 days after you request the voucher.

If you opt for Government Tax-Free Childcare, you can follow the same booking process and, during the payment section, select ‘Pay by Gov Tax-Free’. You will need to provide your TFC ID and agree to link your iPAL to the portal. As long as there are available funds in your portal, this will automatically approve your vouchers during the booking process.
