School Uniform @ St George's
Getting Uniform Ready for September 2024
It is an expectation that all children follow our uniform code.
We have worked hard to simplify uniform and try to make it as affordable as possible.
School uniform is important because it encourages children to be prepared for school and leaves the issues of branded clothing etc at the school gate.
Uniform can be bought from lots of retailers, including Wallasey Uniform Shop, in Manor Road, Uniform ID in Hoylake and Birkenhead Uniform Shop.
We don’t insist on logo uniform, allowing parents to access cheaper uniform from the high street.
Our uniform is:
Foundation 2, Infant Classes (Years 1 and 2) and Lower Junior Classes (Years 3 and 4)
Black or grey trousers, white school polo shirts and blue sweatshirts or cardigans with sensible black shoes or black or grey tunic dresses or skirt with white school polo shirts, blue sweatshirts or cardigans with sensible black shoes.
Upper Junior Classes (Years 5 and 6)
Our year 5/6 pupils wear the same uniform or they can wear a white shirt and school tie with either a blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
PE kit is trainers/pumps, plain tracksuit with black/blue shorts and white T-shirt. On PE days, our children will wear their PE kit to school. They can wear plain black or blue tracksuits, leggings or hooded tops (no branded clothing please).
