Year 6 Heart Dissections

Year 6 pupils have had a fantastic day learning about how the heart works. During a special workshop with Mrs Bowden-Pickstock, children identified the 4 chambers of the heart, dissected those chambers and made observations about the thickness of the heart walls. We are so proud of all of our children that participated by dissecting or observing and look forward to building on their new knowledge during our circulation topic next half term.
