3A Trip to Liverpool

Today, 3A travelled to Liverpool on the train to visit the Walker Art Gallery, Central Library and The World Museum.

In the Walker Art Gallery, we explored Art through different periods of history. We talked about our favourite pieces of art, how they made us feel and the stories they told us.

Then, we visited Central Library. We were amazed at the architecture of the building and all of the wonderful books that we saw across the library. One book was even valued at £7 million!

Our afternoon was spent at the World Museum. We enjoyed our journey through 5000 years of human life in the Nile Valley. With Mrs Marshall, we learnt about ancient burial practices, explored Egypt’s relationship with other civilisations, and identified what it was like to live in Ancient Egypt.

The children have all thoroughly enjoyed their day and hope to visit these three inspirational places again with their families in the future.
