3B and 3C visit to Port Sunlight River Park

In Geography and Science this half term, Y3 are finding all about rivers and plants. To support their learning, 3B and 3C visited Port Sunlight River Park to explore the area and find out more about the wildlife, plants and had a particular focus on the River Mersey. They were lucky enough to meet the local ranger who shared a lot of information about the area and the children had the opportunity to ask him questions to find out more about their Geography and Science units of work. They also used their map skills to locate different physical and human features along the different parts of the river from what they could see from the summit of the River Park. What a great morning they had!
