5A exploring air resistance

What a fantastic exploration lesson we had! 

During our science lesson this week, we explored air resistance. We worked in groups to come up with our own experiment on parachutes. Each group chose the variables they would keep the same and the one they would change and explore. Some of us changed the surface area, the weight, the length of the string and the height from which they were dropped.

I loved watching the children become scientists, using amazing investigation skills and using all the vocabulary they have learnt about forces.
