Year 1 and Year 2's Coronation Celebration

The children in Year One and Two have had lots of fun celebrating King Charles III's coronation today. We started our day with a parade around the school garden's, waving our flags and cheering! Later, we enjoyed a celebratory picnic in the outdoor classroom. Year 2 went in the hall as the rain came just as our lunchtime began. Typical English weather!

We crowned our best dressed King and Queen, who recieved a lovely lego prize for their hard work on their outfits. Thank you for all of your hardwork, it was such a tricky decision to make!

We hope our families enjoy the celebrations this weekend and we look forward to hearing all about it on Tuesday, when we return to school.
