Current Vacancies:

Joint Site Manager 

(We have two site managers at St George’s)

Permanent Position.

Full Time - 36 Hours per Week (plus additional time to be agreed)

Required to work alternating shift pattern 

Week 1: 7.00am – 3.42pm Monday - Friday (with an hours lunch)

Week 2: 9.45am – 6.00pm Monday - Friday (with an hours lunch)

Band G – (£27,852 - £31,099).

Required to start as soon as possible

Leadership team and governing body are seeking to appoint a motivated site manager who will join our premises team and help us develop our school’s building and grounds.  

Our joint site manager must be committed to:

Maintaining high standards of health and safety across our two school sites;

Ensuring that we are compliant with all safety and premises regulations.

Committed to helping us improve our school premises for the benefit of our children, staff and the wider St George’s community.

Committed to helping us ensure that our children, staff and visitors are safe.

The joint site manager must be able to:

Work well with another site manager (we have 2 site managers) and develop trust and an effective working relationship.

Implement effective systems for site management and compliance.

Lead a team of premises staff and ensure they are motivated and maintain high standards

Interact well with colleagues from other departments.

Oversee contractors ensuring compliance, high quality work and value for money.

Undertake routine maintenance.

Demonstrate flexibility.  You will be required to agree cover arrangements for your joint site managers; absence and support out of school day events (by agreement).

The successful candidates will receive a full induction for their role including safeguarding awareness and practice. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, we will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates, this may include social media and video platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and You Tube. Online searches will only examine data that is publicly available, and the aim is to identify any incidents or issues. Any areas of concern will be discussed during the interview process.
