5A, 5B and 5C - York Residential (Day One)
Our Year 5 children (Group 1) have had a fantastic first day on their residential trip to York! Today, they explored the city’s rich history and geography by walking along the ancient city walls, learning about Viking life at the Jorvik Centre, and enjoying a scenic cruise along the River Ouse, where they discovered how York’s geography has shaped the city over time. The children have shown great enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork throughout the day. Tomorrow, they are looking forward to visiting the awe-inspiring York Minster and taking part in even more exciting experiences and activities!
