Amelie wins Catering Competition with Healthy Pizza Idea

Congratulations to Amelie in year 3, who won a special competition devised by our catering manager Jennie Price. Jennie held an assembly for the year group to talk about school dinners and healthy eating and challenged them to come up with a favourite meal and then make it healthy.

Amelie chose pepperoni pizza but gave it a healthy twist by suggesting a wholemeal pizza base and a homemade tomato sauce including chick peas and lentils!

As the winning designer, Amelie will see her pizza created after half term on Thursday 26th February, when everyone can try a slice.

The special lunch will be served with mini cubed potatoes and mixed vegetables with a vegetarian and vegan option available as always.
