Day Two: Y6 Enjoy London Scenes
Day two of our London adventure was just as exciting as the first! The children began their morning exploring the wonders of the Natural History Museum, where they were amazed by the incredible dinosaur skeletons and fascinating exhibitions.
Next, we made our way to the iconic Shakespeare's Globe for an engaging tour and workshop. The children loved stepping back in time to learn about Elizabethan theatre and even had the chance to bring some Shakespearean drama to life themselves!
After a well-earned lunch along the beautiful South Bank, we took to the skies on the London Eye. The breathtaking views across the capital were unforgettable and gave everyone the chance to spot some of London’s most famous landmarks.
Following dinner, the day ended in spectacular style with a performance of the showstopping Matilda The Musical. The energy, songs and performances had everyone completely captivated. After such a full and thrilling day, the children were more than ready to settle down for a well-deserved good night’s sleep!
