Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic final morning in London, making the most of every moment before heading home. The day began at the magnificent St Paul's Cathedral, where the children were inspired by the breathtaking architecture and rich history. From there, they took in the iconic sights of Big Ben and the impressive Houses of Parliament, bringing their learning about British democracy to life right before their eyes.
The excitement continued at Buckingham Palace, where they were thrilled to witness the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. A peaceful stop at the Diana Memorial Garden gave everyone a moment to reflect before enjoying a well-earned lunch in the beautiful surroundings of St James's Park.
With so many iconic landmarks experienced in just one morning, it was a truly memorable way to end an incredible residential. After lunch, the children began their journey home — tired but happy, and full of stories to share.
