First Aid in Year 3

Children in year 3 had a very special visitor this week when former paramedic turned first aid trainer  Shaun came into school to teach them about the importance of first aid.

The children learnt about DRS ABC - Danger, Response, Send for help, Airway, Breathing, CPR.

He also told them about the importance of 999 calls and showed them how to use bandages correctly. The children even had the chance to practice bandages on each other. It was such an important subject to learn about. Thank you Shaun.
