Happy St George's Day

A huge thank you to everybody who made St George's Day such a success.  Our family support made a massive difference.

We were overwhelmed by the turnout for the parade, your children's costumes and the amazing effort made with costumes across the school.

Flags were flying and it was joyful to see how engaged our children were with the costumes and creative competitions. The parade at top site was a great opportunity to get together and really celebrated everybody's effort. 

Having all the castles, shields and dragons on display on Thursday was really impressive. It elevated and valued every competition entry. Many of the best exhibits will also be placed in Wallasey Village Library and Community centre for the Weekend. 20 prizes just didn't seem enough!

Huge thank you everybody in the St George's team but special thanks to:

• Ben and Tim (site managers) for their organisation, putting up the flags, making George the Dragon appear and facilitating the events.
• Catering team for their amazing picnic lunch service.
• Mr Nathan for getting music and organisation sorted at top site.
• Mrs Binks for pulling everything together and creating a really achievable plan.
• Mrs Walters who was the facilitator of so many things (ice lollies, prizes, communication etc).
