On 22 November, 20 Mini Police took part in a road safety event where motorists driving over the speed limit were stopped by the police and given the opportunity to attend a Mini Police Court.

Within the Court, the Mini Police representatives asked motorists why they were going in excess of 20mph and if they understood the dangers this posed to others using the road.  In total 15 people were stopped over a space of 2 hours. Feedback from the drivers was very positive and they all felt it had had an impact on their behaviour and attitude to speed.
