Y5/6 Poetry Slam 2026

Our Year 5/6 pupils recently took part in the Wallasey Schools Poetry Slam, where they performed their original poems with confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the power of poetry alongside other local schools.

We were also delighted to be joined by guest poet, Joseph Roberts, who inspired pupils with his engaging performance and creative workshop. Joseph has worked with a wide range of well-known organisations, including Nike, Chester Zoo, Merseyside Police and Liverpool Football Club, sharing his passion for poetry and inspiring young people through the power of words.

 A wonderful morning was enjoyed by all, and we are incredibly proud of our young poets!
