The children were immersed in Roman life during a very special visit to the Deva Centre in Chester earlier this term. They embraced life as Roman soldiers, marching through the narrow roads calling out Sin (right), Sin, Dex (left), Sin! Afterward, they made sure our parent volunteers had been listening carefully during the session on using shields to protect themselves. The children proved to be fearsome opponents, but thankfully possessed a merciful nature.
