Mr Cassidy Visit

Mr Cassidy, our Headteacher, came into our classrooms this week and told us all about himself, his family and his job. The children sat beautifully as Mr Cassidy spoke to them, and then he read his favourite story too. The children asked Mr Cassidy some questions including "How old are you?" "What is your favourite colour?" and "What is your favourite number?"

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler

Julia Donaldson's latest book "Gruffalo Granny" was released this week. We joined a live stream of Julia reading the story. She also acted out "The Gruffalo". Axel Scheffler also demonstrated how to draw "Gruffalo Granny". The children followed the instructions carefully and created their own masterpieces.

New School Year

Welcome to the start of our new school year. We have had a busy couple of weeks getting to know our new classrooms. We have explored our home corners, reading corners, climbing frame, construction area, drawn pictures, made friendship potions and so much more! We are looking forward to all the exciting activities which we have planned throughout the year.
