Monday 7 July 2025 Y5 visit the world’s first Poetry Expo in Liverpool Some Y5 children were selected to visit and take part in the world's very first Poetry Expo in Liverpool organised by famous local poet Joseph Roberts. Children visited stations led by many organisations from across Merseyside including; Merseyside Police, Merseyrail, Everton FC and many more.

Tuesday 1 July 2025 Year 6 Sports Day Year 6 had a fantastic time at their very last sports day at St George's. Every child showed resilience, determination and skill as they took on relay races, hula hoop races, javelin throwing and much more.Huge congratulations to all classes for completing the event but a special congratulations goes to 6C who were crowned the winners.

Thursday 22 May 2025 Y5's Trip to York (Group 2) Group 2 has ventured into the historic city of York for a day full of discovery and excitement! The children were in awe as they explored the stunning York Minster, taking in its towering architecture and fascinating history. The adventure continued with a relaxing river cruise along the River Ouse, offering beautiful views of the city from the water. It’s been a memorable day of learning, laughter, and making lasting memories in one of England’s most iconic cities.

Wednesday 21 May 2025 Y5's Trip to York (Group 1) Year 5 have had a fantastic first day in York! Spirits were high as the children explored the historic city, kicking off their adventure with a memorable journey along the River Ouse. As they travelled the waterway, they spotted key landmarks and began to piece together York’s rich history and geography. The children showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and impeccable behaviour throughout the day – a brilliant start to what promises to be an exciting and enriching trip!
