• Thursday 15 October 2026 Y3/4 Football Tournament at Activity for all Earlier this week, a team of Year 3 and 4 children represented St George's brilliantly at a Wirral Schools' Football Tournament at Activity for All.
• Tuesday 6 October 2026 5B visit Eureka Science Museum Last week, 5B had a memorable visit to Eureka Science Museum, where children completed hands-on learning through interactive exhibits designed to spark curiosity and confidence. Our students had the opportunity to explore science in a fun, engaging way, with activities that encourage questions, teamwork, and active participation throughout the day.
• Thursday 1 October 2026 Animals Takeover Year 4! Tuesday was full of surprises; an owl, a python, a gecko and a tarantula visited our classrooms. Thankfully, with their owner Lyndsay, who told us lots of facts which helped us to classify them. Did you know that pythons are born in eggs?

• Friday 25 September 2026 Year 3 and 4 Wheelie Breakfast Despite the drizzle, Year 3 and 4 brightened our day with their fabulous entries for our Bling Your Bike competition. They enjoyed a complimentary breakfast snuggled under the fairy lights in Nicky's Place and were able to purchase reflectors and wristbands too.

• Tuesday 14 July 2026 Year 3 showcase A big thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended our Year 3 Showcase on Friday. It was wonderful to see so many of you there celebrating the children's achievements.
• Monday 13 July 2026 World Championship Success in Gymnastics Two of our Year 2 pupils have had an amazing time representing the UK at the International Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (IGC) World Championships, which were held in Florida, USA.
• Monday 13 July 2026 Luna's Fundraiser for Guiding One of our Year 6 pupils, Luna Hughes, is raising funds to help her go to a huge international Girlguiding event in Malta next year. The International Community Experience is an introductory overseas trip designed for Guides (typically ages 10–13) to build travel confidence and complete hands-on community projects.
• Wednesday 8 July 2026 Mindfulness Trip to the Beach Some of our My Happy Mind Ambassadors took a trip to the beach on Wednesday to take part in yoga, mindful breathing and affirmations in the sunshine.
