Year 1/2 Stem Club Autumn Term

Children in Year 1 and 2 have been taking part in an afterschool STEM club as part of the Crest Award scheme. The purpose of the scheme is to inspire primary school children to explore the world around using short hands on activities. The children have had the opportunity to run their own experiments, ask lots of questions, carry out investigations and most importantly have fun with STEM.

Investigations have included; brilliant bubbles, sneaky shadows, making sand timers, testing waterproof materials, being safe in the dark, choosing the best material for catching sneezes and programming robots. The children will all receive a Crest Award certificate and badge to recognise their participation in the club.
